  • FLUFF & ROTATE CUSHIONS REGULARLY: Fluffing and rotating cushions regularly is important for a few practical reasons. First, it helps maintain their shape and prevents them from becoming lumpy or flat over time. When you sit on a cushion, the filling—whether it’s feathers, foam, or polyester—gets compressed. Fluffing redistributes the filling, restoring its loft and comfort.

We use what is called a 'down-proof ticking' that encases the fill in channels (much like a Patagonia down jacket) so everything stays where it should be. It's very rare, but not impossible for feathers to poke thru, but if they do, just a simple cushion rotation and fluff will help alleviate that.
