Our inspirations come from places like Restoration Hardware, Room & Board and Pottery Barn, along with our creativity and sense for fashion and function. We design, manufacture and import everything allowing for us to control quality and affordability. We have 30 plus years and lifetime careers in all aspects of furniture, importing, design, color, fashion, quality control, retail, wholesale, and marketing. 

Furniture is our passion and most importantly, everything we offer needs to fit into the "Really Cool" category. We strive for 5 star ratings. We're not the Marriott, but we want you to feel like you are there.

Robert Murphy, RCL St. Cloud Owner

Originally from Chicago, Robert Murphy leads RCL St. Cloud with a straightforward mission: to help families create comfortable, inviting homes without the pressure of a hard sell. As a family man himself, Robert knows the importance of a well-furnished home that fits both style and budget.

With decades of experience in customer service, Robert believes in a relaxed, personalized approach. He takes time to understand each customer’s needs, ensuring they find the right pieces that enhance their home and lifestyle. His goal is simple—helping people love where they live, one room at a time.

Shane Murphy, Customer Experience Specialist - RCL St. Cloud

Shane Murphy is the friendly, behind-the-scenes force at Really Cool Living in Saint Cloud. As Robert’s cousin, he joined the team with a heart for service and a genuine love for helping others. His positive attitude and willingness to learn have made him an invaluable part of the customer experience.

Shane thrives on making people feel welcome and supported. From assisting with showroom setup to ensuring smooth deliveries, he works hard to create a hassle-free, enjoyable shopping experience. For Shane, it’s about more than just furniture—it’s about making each family’s home feel a little more special.

Brett Foster, Founder

Entrepreneur, avid outdoorsman, and most importantly, family man.

Brett started his career in the industry in 1987 at what is now HOM Furniture and later Ashley, where he'd played a key role in the companies' growth for over 30 years. From design innovation and product development to marketing and sales, there wasn't a part of the business that Brett didn't inspire. While nothing good lasts forever, it was during his later years here that inspired an idea, or moreso a passion for Brett. How do we make the furniture buying experience better?

Founded in 2015, Really Cool Living was born on the idea that we can make the furniture buying experience better, we can be different than everyone else. We can bring in a high quality product that the other guys sell for 4X, and we can make an experience fun, educational, and memorable. We can provide 5 star service in delivery, communication, and always treating our customers like family. 

Brandon Buckvold, President

Brandon joined the team in 2022 to help bring the RCL vision to life. From website design to customer service, sales, warehousing, deliveries and more, you'll find Brandon literally doing it all. RCL prides itself in doing everything in house with our small family-like staff and Brandon is a huge part in that. Chances are if you've met or worked with him, you love him.

Marlena Buckvold, HR & Marketing

Meet Marlena, our HR, Billing, and Social Media Director. She juggles her professional responsibilities with the demands of being a mom to three amazing kids. When she’s not busy at work, you’ll find her creating cherished memories with her loved ones.
